After investigating the potential health risks of genetically modified (GM) foods, Doug concluded that growing an organic garden was the only choice for him and his family. However, growing foods organically can present a variety of issues that are difficult to overcome, especially for those with limited time and experience. For instance, unsuitable soil that requires intensive cultivation can make growing a robust organic garden difficult and time consuming. And, the special needs that organic plants have when it comes to fertilization and pest control only add to the challenges.

After discovering a fascinating e-book on a raised bed method of organic gardening, Doug contacted its author. It seemed that the author was well known in the gardening world for his revolutionary approach to organic gardening, which utilizes an organic pre-mix growing material and an organically structured fertilizer that promises sizable yields.
